  • How do I book with Bonnie Bell - Makeup Artist?
Please contact myself via email or telephone, we will then discuss your requirements and my availability for the date you have requested. A trial is needed before booking the wedding day makeup. A 50% deposit of the trial price is required before booking, booking will not be confirmed until deposit is made.
  • Bridal Trial
During a bridal trial, we will have up to 2 hours within the appointment, this will give us enough time to find out what kind of makeup look you are wanting to go for and have a play around with different products, so you can get a feel for what you would like on the day. We will discuss your skin type and how to prep the skin, what textures and colours you would like to incorporate within the makeup, we will discuss any inspiration pictures you have seen and would like to intertwine within your look. For trials I do recommend wearing either a top or dress which is a similar colour to your outfit on the wedding day, so you can get a feel for how the makeup reflects onto the colours.
  • Can Bridesmaids & Mothers have a trial?
Yes of course! A trial for bridesmaids or mothers of the bride/groom are up to 2 hours and include false eyelashes within the makeup application.
  • Do you Travel & What are your Travel Fees?
Yes I do Travel, I travel locally within West Yorkshire, all over the UK and Internationally. My call out fees are £0.50p per mile both ways, travel fees apply to all trials called out to your location and call out to the locations of the weddings. Any wedding location further than 30 miles away will require overnight accommodation for the night before the event. For any destination weddings, the client is responsible for covering all travel, accommodation and other costs linked to the travel. A personalized quote will be done for overseas call outs, this can be discussed via email/phone.
  • When do I pay?
Full balance is due within 4 weeks after the contract has been sent out.
  • What is your cancellation procedure?
If the request to cancel is less than two months prior to the event, you will be charged the full and final balance as per the booking. If you are cancelling before two months prior to the wedding date, a 50% refund will be made within 5 working days of cancellation.
  • How is Bridal Makeup different to Occasion Makeup?
This is a common question that many people ask, Bridal Makeup is a bespoke service to you. The main difference between the two is is Bridal Makeup takes much longer to apply, even if the makeup look is simple and can be achieved quickly, Bonnie never rushes and spends quality time perfecting and making sure the bride is perfect. So please do be aware that Bridal Makeup can be up to 2 hours and will never be done within less than an hour with Bonnie. As there is professional photography involved within weddings, Bridal Makeup has to be adapted to reflect well with different lights/cameras. Certain and more expensive products are involved with Bridal Makeup as they reflect a lot nicer with professional pictures as the cameras are very HD and pick up everything, totally different to your mobile phone pictures. Bridal Makeup has to last all day, sometimes from 6am to 12am! with a mixture of dancing, eating, drinking and potentially sweating! Whereas your event makeup that typically just needs to last a couple of hours to half a day, tops.
